Mathilde is a designer who has lived in Japan.She is passionate about objects, creation and crafts.

Paul is a photographer with a fascination for pictures, aesthetics and creativity.

In July 2012, on a rainyday, Mathilde and Paul met at a friend’s house. A conversation took place and Paul explained his failure to understand why the only umbrellas he ever saw were all sad and black. They subsequently decided to join forces to produce sensitive, original and young umbrellas which would promote French creation and craftsmanship.
